hey guys i just converted to a fuel cell w/ level sensor setup. it reads 0-90 ohms, and im looking for a way to get it connected to my oem fuel gauge. any inpput on what wire to tap into? whether it be on the cluster or on the oem pump wiring harness?? need this asap!!
Look in the service manual section DI (driver information) under "combination meters" for info on the fuel level sensor. It'll tell you which pins the sending unit should connect to.
The OEM unit resistance is approximately 80 ohms when empty and 3 ohms when full, so your sending unit will probably make the gauge read off a bit, but not too much.
