Default Shift Delay Question

im working on something for my z, but theres something i need to know.

does anyone know what the actual shift delay or time it takes for the gears to engage in WOT on the at5 350z when its in manaul mode?

i need to know how long it takes the gears to engage to be able to adjust certain parts on my little project.

ill give details of what it is im working on when i have something to show you.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I beleive he's talking you hit it and it shifts; it is impossible for it to be "instant" I think your just on a different scale; he's looking for tenths of a second answers; which Im afraid I cant provide you with. but it is close to instant, but not exact.

just like some say they dont have orange peel; but it is there.

thats exactly what i mean. there has to be some sort of time lapse from the time i shift up to the time the gear is fully engaged in manual mode.

im pretty sure its somewhere in the tenths of a second, but im trying to find out which window its in.

0 to .5 seconds from shift time to fully engaged? or
.5+ seconds from shift time to fully engaged?
