I"M BAAAAACK!

Things have finally slowed down some - just enough for me to get back to the forums. I miss this place! I still can't believe this thread has grown to the size it is.

The wire to the far right, I like it longer so it creeps out past the engine cover. Gotta show this bad boy. Can you make me a kit that wil have that wire longer?

Default Hola!!!

Hello everyone!

Got a few give-aways for you:

1. Up for grabs is a brand spanking new 5 wire light purple grounding kit that has been sitting on my floor for several months and I want it to leave.
2. Next; an 8 wire SOLID RED grounding kit (used by me). I decided to go back to the clear red “candy cane” look.

3. Last but, not least – since I did the Borla give-away already; I wanted to offer something else up.

Any and all purchases from the beginning of the year until FATHER’S DAY will be entered into a drawing to receive their choice of CAIs – Injen or AEM!!!

Thanks for another wonderful year – I love you guys, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to thank everybody for their interest on the grounding kits and to remind you all that you have less than a month to get in on the CAI giveaway.

As always, I am grateful for your business and appreciative of your support!

Damn this thread is long!!! But I just got my kit

Did you guys really use loctite as the instructions suggest? Will the bolts really come loose if I don't? Hope to get the thing installed this weekend. Thanks all! Looks like a great kit!

Default Kinetix Plenum / Grounding Kit Compatibility.

I have had several requests about the compatibility of the Kinetix plenum and the grounding kit.

There are NO incompatibilities provided you make a couple of adjustments to the connection points.

All that needs to be done is adopt the G35 connections at the rear of the plenum closest to the firewall. The rest stays the same.

On the driver side:

Remove the long 10 mm bolt in the bend of the plenum just left of the throttle body. Attach the #5 (32") wire to this bolt and re-secure.

Note: Even though the terminal is sitting on the plastic plenum, the bolt still attaches to metal.

On the passenger side:

At the rear on the motor, you will see a bracket/module assembly held on with a 10mm bolt. Remove that bolt while holding on to the assembly so it doesn’t fall. Place the #4 (30") wire terminal on top of the bracket/module assembly from and re-secure using the existing 10m bolt and washer.

In the picture, notice the red squares are the old attachments.

And while I have your attention – I want to thank everyone AGAIN for all of your support. You are making this another stellar year.

Enjoy.
