Default Rev-Up Vs Non Rev-Up timing covers.

I have a dumb question, are Rev-Up rear timing cover different from Non Rev-Up rear timing covers?

looking online they seem to appear " the same " but i wouldnt go for that, hopefully someone whos familiar will chime in here.

Exactly, I have a spare Rev-Up rear timing cover, I going building a Non Rev-Up VQ35 for my Project car and i don't a somethin that I might have.

According to the FAST software:


(yes it says front, but its the rear front cover).

As long as your motor is from a vehicle made after 10/04, rev-up and non should be the same.

It does not list the newer part # as an alternative to the 0602-1004 year part, so if the car the motor came out of was not an October 2004 or later car, then you you may have problems.

Also just looked on Nissan Part Zone. The earlier part is like $105, and the new is over $300.
