Oil Coolers: Stacked Plate vs Tube-Fin?
Ok I've been doing a some googling regarding this topic and it seems that Tube-Fin style is more efficient in terms of cooling. If this was true then why is everyone running the Stack-Plate design?
Care to shed some light, anyone?

Thanks for pointing that out man but I'm fully aware about the basic advantage and disadvantages of both. I'm just wondering why it seems like no one in this community has the Tube-Type design if cooling the engine is really what's all about...
Is the drop in pressure on the Tube-Fin type actually THAT bad with our cars? I've seen one review from a Honda guy and says the pressure drop isn't too significant. I was looking at Hayden brand and they mention the drop in oil pressure is very minimal on their product.
I'd like to hear it if there's anyone from here who's running Tube-Fin on the VQ. If no one has tried this yet then I guess there's only one way to find out if this design favors the VQ or not. LOL.
