Do I need a flywheels clutch with 100shot?
If I were to put a 100shot of nitrous, possibaly going 150 every once and a while, would I HAVE to upgrade my flywheel and clutch? Also doesnt a high Hp/Tq car eat up light flywheels? When I turboed my prelude the tech told me that I shouldnt get a lightened flywheel because it wont be able to handle the power.
Thanks,
Chris.
Thanks,
Chris.

So you're going to take it back off and try to sell it at a profit? I'm sure that's your prerogative, but I gotta say that the pure enthusiast in me finds that to be icky.
Besides, you have to count the time/effort/money required to keep your NOS tank full when you're comparing maintenance.
What specific maintenance are you concerned about?

You will regret letting a supercharger go for NO2. The bottle only lasts a few 1/4 mile runs. Then you gotta spend 30 bucks for a refill. What a pain in the ain. Especially a Vortech for 2K.

Well im concerned about using the vortech for more than 6-8 months, im not going to take it off right away. This is my daily driver and I drive my car quite hard, im worried that the engine wont take my abuse very long. Im terrified that it will lean out for some reason and blow my motor, them in S C R E W E D.

I'm one who believes that the chances of the supercharger causing a meltdown in the first 8 months is much higher than the chance of it happening in the next 2 years after that.
Again, I mean no offense by this but if I were in your shoes I would do the gentlemanly thing and defer the Vortech install to someone who is actually going to appreciate it, is willing to take the educated risk, and would have purchased one anyway.

What if a N2O selenoid sticks open between shifts like what happened to Smithstown...KABOOB!!! You might as well leave the Vortech on dumbaZZ!!!When you Attmept to return the car back to stock to get Nissan to warranty a problem, they will know anyway...Do you think they are that stupid..They really scrutinise Blown engines and look for any sign that ANYTHING was other than stock under the hood...Trust me they will know..So you are better off keeping the SC on or like we said just decline the offer and let someone else appriciate it..This guy is a REAL DICK!!

Hel yeah..This dude is wining about getting a FREE supercharger installed on his car...Just dont do it if you are concearned about blowing up and keeping a warranty...And if you ask me N2O is more dangerous than Controlled boost...Everytime you spray that bottle you dont know what the hell is gonna happen..That stuff gets contaminated sometimes I have seen it...
