Thanks for the parts/price breakdown Travis.

Yeah that transmission is not cheap, the cheapest I found was $3700 not including shipping.

yup! i eventually wana buy one then put a really good diff in it...but thats in the far far future lol...

next winter i already have planned out for the car haha:
-precision 6766
-quick spool valve
-twin Weldon fuel pumps
-1000cc injectors
-Titan fuel rail
-AEM standalone
-HKS 272 cams
-valves, reainers, springs ect...

no way will i be able to fit the trans and diff into that budget haha

How much power are you looking to make? What about budget? Have you looked into the Full Race Turbo / Turbo Manifold? They have a Turbo (forgot exact specs) I believe made 7-800ish and started spooling in the 3k range. Something to look into if you're looking to make some big power. Believe this setup goes for around $3-4,000, somewhere in that area. I have to get back on that search, has been a month or 2 now.

i want to make something around 8-900 after i get everything done next winter...i feel like thats the point where my trans is going to be iffy...then the next winter will be the time ill look into a possible trans swap...but that all depends on how happyi am with the setup at the time...i really dont have a set goal on what i want...

By the time you move back here if you ever decide to , there won't be emissions here in King or Pierce county either

Nice choice of parts, you are really close to my build other than me having an RB26 and you having a 2J. I'm sweating everytime I go to the track wondering if my front diff or tranny is going to explode, need to work on that :P

Yea looks like it was polished. When you chrome something there will be additional "material" added to whatever is chromed. So you will have a layer of chrome that the item will be completely coated in. If they did not disassemble the throttle body and have everything coated then it is polished. If you paid to have it chromed get your money back. If they hooked you up on polishing then dont worry about it but there looks like there are some spots that were missed or poorly done. Im not hating just didnt want you to get screwed out of money that was spent on something that wasnt done.

Im ready to see some numbers out of this thing!!!
