Default Getting rid of front radiator hose...caps?

I want to get rid of my front radiator hose that goes across the engine on the DE but I don't want to pull out the coolant pipes and weld the ports shut, so I just wanted to cap them....

Anyone done this and can recommend a part/part #'s to cap the ports with?

Read through this thread...

... it has several suggestions for methods of capping the connections for those who don't want to weld them shut.

i would never use any sort of cap on a high temp pressurized port.

either weld it or leave it.

Agree 100%! Nothing like having heat cracks cause a leak or cap blowout... usually at the worst time as well. Either weld it or leave it alone...

I've always wondered why things don't break when you're just out for a cruise... It always happens when you're 100 miles away from home, or late for work, or something else. Murphys Law, I guess?
