Can someone post a detailed diagram of where the ECU is?
I've looked at some sources and it just seems a little odd ... can someone just explain to me in an understandable way how to get ot the ECU ? From what I understand it's somewhere in the passenger side footwell ... oh and I have a G35C if that makes any difference. I want to know cause i'm trying to install a shift light.. speaking of which, do any of you know if it's safe to tap into the firing signal cables? (there are 6 coming out of the ECU - one per cylinder)
Thanks
Thanks

I've tapped a logger into my #1 cylinder coil trigger wire and have experienced no problems. A lot of it depends on the circuit, but if it's designed to operate on a low voltage ECU based signal instead of a induction signal, you should be fine. Sorry though can't help you on the G35 placement. On the Z you need to remove the bottom panel on the passenger side. Where the cheesy cup holder is at.
