as the title states i wanted to know which oil filter you guys (with the ARC oil cooler kit) uses ??
as far as i know the oem once didn't fitted "right" or where leaking...but i'm def. not sure about that.

 

If I had my car in front of me I could tell you. My car is in storage so I can't check for you. I know K&N makes one that fits perfect. If I recall it was the HP-1003? It's been a long time...

It's a bit small for my taste, but it did the job. If I recall, I think Vo mentioned that a larger version did fit. Maybe he will chime in.

 

Hey Rickdogg, quick question for ya. Did your GTSPEC lateral brace fit with the Amuse R1 exhaust? On z1auto, it says that it only fits true dual exhaust but since I have the same exhaust as you and your list of mods includes this brace, I just wanted to check with you firsthand before I make my purchase. Thanks.

Sorry OP for the inadvertent thread hijack. BTW, the ARC oil and diff coolers are rare pieces of distinguished, automotive engineering. Hands down!

 

I believe I ended up removing the rear lateral brace to clear other exhaust systems as well since I switched them out so many times. I also had to relocate my ARC Differential cooler to clear the Amuse.

 

im running the K&N Rickdogg mentioned. I put the OIL on there once because i couldnt find the K&N in stock and it fell off on the freeway and all my oil leaked out leaving my stranded on the side of the road. 200$ tow later, pay 5 bucks extra for the K&N.
