Question How can I tell if I have a plenum spacer installed?

Hey,

I bought my car used, nowhere close to the first owner. It has a few basic mods, drilled and slotted rotors, intake, headunit.

I highly doubt it has a spacer, but it would be a shame to buy one and take it all apart just to find that I wasted my time/money and have to resell it again.

Is there any way to tell? Maybe the noise it makes?

Thanks!

Look to see if there is a spacer mounted between the upper and lower plenum. If you dont know what those are...search.

Im bored and Im in a pretty good mood so i'll make someone's life easier.

This shiny piece in the middle (between the 'upper' and 'lower' plenum) is called the plenum spacer.

Check out Motordyne - they make a great product (I love mine) and have an incredibly good set of instructions to install it yourself.

Yup,and a note, not all spacers are shiny, the Motordyne spacer is matched to the casting style of the stick plenum very stealthy
