Default clutch replaced, gearing wrong?

I replaced my clutch the other day, and now it seems like my 5th and 6th gear arnt as far too the right as they used to be, I thought before that reverse and 6th in same place but you just push down for reverse, if this is the case then something happened when putting in the clutch. Any info would be nice .

having any issues getting it into gear? if not i wouldnt worry about it, and no reverse is further to the right you have to push down because theres a plate there you have to get past so you dont put it in reverse accidentally.

If the shifter was taken apart to do the clutch the bracket on top of the trans/shifter probably wasn't put back in the same place as it was originally. Pretty simple to adjust, Loosen the plate bolts, hold shifter all the way over to the right, push plate up against shifter and tighten bolts.

check to see if the transsmion and shifter are bolted in the right, i had the same issue when I changed my clutch on my car. the gears where ofF and to go reverse you had to push down hard. just check go see if everything is bolted on tight and in place.

Also, if you removed the shifter from the transmission, you may have re-installed it incorrectly. There is a nub on the side of the shifter that should be facing the passenger side of the console when installed. If reversed, it won't match up to the guide plate correctly.
