3.5 differential

i was wondering if there are any key features to look for when trying to tell a difference between the non-vlsd and vlsd pumpkins? also any way to tell if it came off a 6mt or 5at by just looking at it?

ring gear on a 5at is about twice as thick, lsd is going to have a mechanism that allows the fluid to engage both wheels, non lsd is just going to have 4 spider gears in it.
