Unhappy SES (Service Engine Soon) Light -- Please help

I got the SES light immediately after Circuit City installed the hard wire kit for the Beltronics accelerometer. I found the thread on how to clear the codes and how it was triggered.

But my real question is what ever happened to the thread with all the great info from clearing codes, to radar detector installs, etc... and with all the appropriate links?

Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and if you do would you please post the link?

After having my monitor, dvd, and ps2 installed my installer said the light will go off, and it may retard timng alittle. We took it over to Nissan and they cleared the code for free. They just said next time we will have to charge you.

I would do it there instead of Nissan.

There are plenty of places that will clear the code for free if Nissan will not take the time.

You can do it yourself but it's a pain and requires very precise modulation of the gas pedal. If you need the instructions, do a search or PM me and I"ll send you the FSM diagram.
