Default What next? VQ35DE N/A

OK, I have so far done the following:

Motordyne plenum spacer
CAI
Decat
UpRev tune

My next list:

Full exhaust
Lightweight pulley set
Lightweight flywheel and clutch

Any other suggestions that isn't too expensive for power? The car is used for occasional track and sort of daily drive, but not the main DD vehicle. I want to keep it fairly cheap as I might consider going FI in a year or two.

I have gone through lots of threads but would like input.

You are better off just saving for the F/I mods then. Every NA mod is mostly a complete waste of money for very minimal gains that not even the butt dyno can detect. Do some research and you will see the light.

Yeah, I accept that. That is the reason why I only have those few things on my list which would be good for FI as well.

Just thought maybe I have missed a thing or two that can be done so long.

Otherwise I will perhaps look at coilovers after the first things have been done

Suspension work is a solid upgrade, coilovers and cusco or hotchkis sways will make an improvement. You could do the exhaust too, but it may actually hurt your NA numbers because the F/I wants zero back pressure (turbo) or just a bit (SC) and your NA wants a bit more. It also depends if you are thinking stock internals or built block boost.

I would recommend the JWT clutch and flywheel combo, it holds decent power and drives very much like stock. Lightweight pulleys and F/I are a no-no.

Exhaust is a good start, I would also look into the romp buy on long tube headers, NA is fun, same people talk a lot of crap about bolt on NA builds , yes it can end up being a lot of cash to get 300 HP , not everyone need a unreliable 500hp beast.

Thanks for the replies guys... I will do some more homework.

The wheels is also one thing I want to do. The availability is just not great here and the shipping on importing is killing it. But I know I will have to fork out a bit for that. At this stage I am thinking of the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres, but still need to do more homework closer to the time. Still have a bit left on the current tyres

HAHA!

And in the three years I have had a 350Z Roadster, 370Z Coupe and 350Z Coupe.

The 350Z Coupe only got out of the workshop two days ago after being there from Jan.

But I do know you did try to be sarcastic, but now you know. Sometimes there is good reasons for things to happen in certain ways, even if you don't like it or agree with it. Also remember, cars and parts cost roughly double for me than what it cost you. As an example, the 370Z cost me in dollar terms $64 000.
