Oh dang... you busted me! I know, I know... I thought I would give it a try though! Truth is I'm obsessed and probably need mental help. My car is getting tuned in Sept and I'm bound and determined to get the highest numbers possible, but all the conflicting "talk" gets confusing at times. So I came across this dude... and figured eh, he has the same engine and year as mine, pulled awesome numbers, I'll just do what he did!

 

its just a number.... you will see / feel the difference, just dont get your feeling hurt when it might possibly be lower than you expect

 

OK I get that, but I don't want to have to carry my box of kleenex around anymore any time I get beat by someone... I wanna stomp them all dang it! .... realistically speaking of course.

 

my first tune i only gained 6.... and then when i swapped exhaust and everything i gained a total of 14 from my baseline

 

See that's where I get confused, for instance, the MREV2 claims something like 20hp and 30tq. So logistically, it seems to me that if you start to add up each mod, and what they each claim to gain, then your numbers should go up exponentially, but that doesn't seem to be the case. What am I missing here?

 

you will never get what they advertise... and it depends on the dyno, where in the country you are etc etc etc

 

Yeah, I figured that much. OK I'll relax about it and just wait and see what she does.
