Default Grounding Kit Installed!

So I took the time and effort to assemble and install my own grounding kit, I think it turned out extremely well! I used 4 gauge OFC wire with blue insulation, as seen, and the M6 x 16mm and M6 x 10mm bolts with washers. I might be willing to make more kits (wire in any color) and sell them if anyone would be interested. Anyway here's how it ended up looking...

I like how you put the longer wires outside the shorter ones in that photo. In case of lightning you should be fine with all that grounding stuff.

Nice job. Grounding kits are a fun little DIY.

For one thing it sure helps. Adding weight to the car .

Anyway, wires on the 1st pic looks very neat, although not a fan of too much coloring of the engine bay.

Dude really?

About 90% of what we do here can be considered a waste of time. Modding and babying a mass produced sports car itself can be considered a waste of time. Lighten up.

Good work on the DIY. One of these days I'm gonna get around to doing this.

Perhaps I could interest you in the new air filtration system I'm installing in my tires?

This guy is hilarious....

Anyway, OP nice work. Looks great. Very neat and meticulous, just like the rest of your car. Well done.

Thanks everyone! I do like the color accent it brings to the bay, subtle.

As for noticeable changes, I did notice the volts gauge move up a tad from where it normally was. I'll take a multimeter out today and check.

As for power... easy +5hp! haha, the placebo effect is making me bias either way i'm happy

Vndr09: Thanks, I wish I could say your G is neat and meticulous, or heck even just plain clean (always filthy) but well, you know...

Yes, ya know the normal first mods. All I have currently is a K&N drop in fliter but will add the MREV2 lower plenum, Kinetix V+ upper plenum, DC Stainless Headers and Stillen true dual exhaust. Then of course the UpRev tune!

Looks .... just a little cluttered IMO. Not really my thing, but i do believe they can be semi functional. I would cut it down to a 3 wire at most system ( throttle body, eng , and chassis ) from the battery.

My cousin's car actually got struck by lightening on the highway last year. Nearly every electronic component needed to be replaced. The damages and cost to repair was far more than the cost of the car, but the car was new so they didn't total it. Even something this simple may actually pay off if the odds are not in your favor.

i suggest getting some blue samco hoses, it just cleans the way it looks up alot. I got Ztoyz fluid covers too, looks good. IMO. You can get Hoses in pretty much any color you want, they even make urban camo
Sounds like you already got all your bolt ons picked out. Just gotta do it now
