Forgot about tranny, I would think the SMG will not b a viable option. Here is some input on it by Neel on the Apex Speed Forums (This is for the S85 SMG, which is very similar AFAIK):

oh and I just remembered on last thing: oil level sensor.

So Apex can have the oil level sensor reprogrammed so that it works with the Pectel ECU (I think KMS Racing Engines in the Netherlands does the actual reprogramming). However last time I heard (late 2012) there was a problem with that and they were offering an aftermarket oil level sensor solution which was in the neighborhood of $1600. I do not know if this is still the case or if they are back to being able to reprogram the stock sensor, but yea, that's another minor hurtle and you might be better off drilling a hole in the pan, running a tube, and making your own dipstick / save some $$. Either way call up Apex and check for details.
