BMW M3 Engine & Trans Swap into 350z?
alright guys here's my question, I was wondering if a 2011 m3 motor and smg transmission woukd fit into the z? now before you all start biting my head off the reason I'm asking is because my friend blew his engine in the z and he isthinking if just selling it which I would get cheap and I happen to have an m3 motor and tranny in my garage. figure 440 hp v8 wouldn'tbe to bad lol and what would the cost be ball bark of course to get it done

It's a 90° V8 aluminum block, so I am going to so no. But you can probably swap it on craigslist for something interesting.

Overhead cam V8's will be very snug as they are 90 degrees rather than 60 like the VQ. Still doable I bet but not cheap.

I would imagine this would not be a very cheap build considering no one I can recall has ever done one and it would be a ton of custom work
