Default Vq35de (neo) ?

Hey guys. Anyone heard of the VQ35DE (NEO) version engine before? From what I gather the Neo VQ35 is yet another VQ variant that was developed for the non-US market.

It also was developed to produce lower emissions along with less HP/TQ.
NEO = "Nissan Ecology Oriented"

Reason for this thread I have a chance to pick up a ARC oil pan, but the instructions are labeled:

Vehicle: V 33
Engine: VQ35DE (NEO)

Wonder if there would be any difference in the oil pans (I wouldn't think so). Also, I have a revup VQ and I know the STILLEN oil pan requires notching for oil pickup tube clearance.

What you guys think?

Alright guys. Found a little more info. Apparently the VQ35DE NEO came as an option engine for the Renault Samsung SM7. (Nissan partnered with Renault)

"Renault-Nissan Alliance is a strategic Franco-Japanese partnership between automobile manufacturers Renault, based in Paris, France and Nissan, based in Yokohama, Japan which together sell more than one in 10 cars worldwide."

Tomei list VQ35DE (NEO) as well for some of their camshaft listings. Part number searches for this particular part # came up with they are for 350z/G35 non-revup VQ's.

Tomie part number 143064. Here's a link for an example for those interested:

Guess I have too much time on my hands...
