I am getting my tranny and clutch swapped out on tuesday so I just ordered a JWT flywheel and would like to know about how much it should be to put the flywheel in.

 

if they do it while the clutch is out and the tranny is down it should not cost more than 30 bucks.

 

heck i would want it thrown in for free since they are going to be doing all that work anyway.

 

the flywheel is not attached to the trans. it is not a part of the process. it isn't going to be free but it should be very cheap.

 

Mine was installed for free when my transmission was replaced.

 

how much would it cost if the tranny weren't being replaced?

 

My dealer charged me $70 to install my JWT flywheel & clutch while my tranny was being swapped. The damn tech put the alignment pin in the wrong hole on the flywheel and they kept my car an extra day trying to determine what was wrong. When they said the timing was off I told them to switch the alignment pin. They agreed to do it but said if that didn't fix the timing that they were going to install the stock clutch and flywheel and charge me ~$400. I knew it would work so I agreed and have been loving the combo ever since.

 

I'd also like to know how much it would be if they aren't replacing the tranny.. I figure from the last post maybe in the ball park of $400..

Most places charge 5-6 hours when it takes about 3.5 hrs.

 

I think Performance Nissan charges $300.

 

Just want to let everyone know my dealer did not charge me a penny when i got my clutch/tranny installed! Good luck all.
