Intake cam sprocket question

Intake cam sprocket question
I took apart my Intake cam sprockets when taking the engine apart. It seems to go back togather only one way. Problem I'm having is the metal clip and springs. Wich way are they supposed to go back in? I cannot find anything on this. I should not have taken this completley apart.

I'm pretty sure I have them back togather properly. Next problem is the cover plate. The 4 bolts that hold it on are not an exact machined fit. So the cover could sit off balance to the rest of assembly. So I put the cover as best I can by eye. I can potentially see this creating a problem for me.

I think I have them togather correctly but I don't know if the front cover on them are balanced or not. Because the bolt holes are not machined perfectly there's some slop when tightening them down. The chance of having the cover slightly of center is there. I did the best I could by eye.

take it to a machine shop and see if they can balance them for you.
You might try PMing meatbag on here. I'm pretty sure he had a build or knows someone that takes the cam gears apart and machines the insides out in order to allow 50* of cam advance. Whoever does that work would know quite a bit about those sprockets. You could also try to search through google with my350z in the title to pull results from increased cam advance with the sprockets. I know it was a thread in the last couple years here.

The only thing close I can find is forsale threads that have pictures of the sprockets taken apart in a bucket lol. I took my other one apart to make sure I put the peices back in correctly. Only issue I have still is the cover plate. Mabey if I take a ring compressor and tighten it down around the whole assembly I can put that plate on straight as possible.

Did you message Meatbag? He just updated his car thread so I know he's been on here. I think he has assembled them.
I honestly don't think they are that precision of an assembly or they would have used guide pins.
