350z ecu question

Default 350z ecu question

hey i bought a new ecu for my 350z because i was getting a p1136 code and people told me my ecu was fried. i took it to the dealer and he told me its not programmable, just plug and play. i plugged it up and car doesnt start. it cranks but wont start.
car is 2004 350z touring model 6 m/t
ecu model is R4
code is p1136, vdc off and slip light all on.

New ECU has to be programmed with the BCM to your key.

dealer told me its not programmable.. said he didnt want to take my money for something thats not programmable.. not sure if they were ********ting me or what?

I doubt the ECU is the problem, I would start looking at the potential failed part first. I know they go bad, my spares have been lent out to my friends shop for troubleshooting a couple times now.
