Currently building a motor with L19 but some of the studs wont torque to 90 ftlbs and is just coming out. I got a machine shop to use timeserts all around the block and it worked great for the right side. Two studs come out on the left side. Can anyone recommend 1/2 inch studs that wont break the back? I found a few sets but they are around $400.00. I remember reading somewhere that the LS engine use the same size studs as the Z but come in 1/2 inch?!? Any info is much appreciated.
