dude dont even start your going on about what someone else told you against people who actually build motors. you are wrong plain and simple and are trying to make yourself look good at this point. this has nothing to do with "fixing what isnt broke" not a single thing you have said makes any sense or holds any validity. YOU YOURSELF said you are quoting techs so dont try pulling that bs now like your speaking on personal experience.

a intake or spacer 100% does not in ANY WAY contribute to engine failure, you comment on how it is external forces that enable it to not cause engine failure well guess what those same external things are what would make it cause engine failure. heres the difference those external forces also would cause engine failure with STOCK PARTS. the pulleys on the other hand DIRECTLY cause failures without ANYTHING else, just them themselves cause it no external force contribute or minimizes it outside of going to a proper pulley. if you cant understand that then keep writing checks and dont pick up a wrench you will be doing yourself a favor.

you have provided nothing that backs up anything you say, you have not done anything to contribute to the forum, you have done nothing that shows you have the slightest bit of knowledge on which the concept your commenting on, and everything you say completely contradicts the concepts of building a engine not only that your trying to argue with someone who has over a DECADE of experience building engines, has provided numerous contributions to this forum, my example for this platform makes a good amount of power with one of the broadest powerbands with a second build in progress, AND completely understands the science behind how these things work and backed it up numerous times. you would have a easier time convincing obama he is doing a bad job then providing any validity to your incorrect statements, seems to me you are simply upset you bought something that damages your engine and provides no benefit and are trying to rationalize your purchase, anyone who has taken psych 101 would agree.

You are not going to "feel" any difference by simply removing a couple of pounds from the pulley setup no matter how sensitive your butt dyno is. I had a set of UR underdrive pulleys installed and dyno'd on a DE a while ago, there were no gains.

I have the UR pulleys installed on my 2004 AT and I immediately feel it rev up faster and shift faster then the OEM pulleys! Sure no hp gain but it did make some improvement!

Not sure if it will break the engine??? I guess if you treat your engine well it won't be a problem? Correct me if I am wrong?

Treating engine well would be not driving the car.
