Default Does 96-97 Q45 V8 Throttle Body fit on the VQ35DE motor?

Have anyone tried this? I've heard that the bore is much bigger on the 96-97 Q45 (VH45 motor) than the VQ35DE throttle body. Has anyone tried it? Does it fit? Is it a direct bolt-in? How much bigger is the diameter of the bore? Suggestions? Advice? Thoughts? I know EVO350 makes one and it's nice. But wonder if the Q45 V8 throttle body would be more crazier...

Even the minor change the EVO TB makes, it still need a reflash to take advantage....

I see. Right. So so far, EVO makes one for the VQ. Anyone else making other throttle bodies? Have you heard of any other ones Fly By Z???

Plus, the Q45 TB might be expensive to buy. The Evo is only $265.

Thanks guys! Yeah, the Q45 could be expensive. Crazy *** JUN used it on their 700+ hp / Option 350Z which was bolted to a custom JUN manifold. Sick I tell you!

I like the 350EVO T/B and also the Proflow Design one. Of these two, which one would be good? Hmmm...

*Thanks Mike for the links!

Stick with the 350Evo, since they actually test and develop their products in a professional racing series. Plus their customer service is top-notch...

I agree entirely, I've gotten great service from them. My throttle body is for sale and does not require core exchange.

I will eventually get a TB, probably quite soon just because it is available and you can't do it all unless you include it in your mod list. It isn't worth much power but hey, you gotta get one. As far as the EVO TB, I will most likely get it. Pretty much everything out there is very similar and I would support 350EVO since they are a part of us and provide expertise and track tested parts to the members. Stick with family.

I'm selling it for $800 shipped.

It would cost $1015 from 350EVO for the same piece.

They charge $265 for porting service + $750 for the factory TB.

Actually, it costs you 265 dollars and you send them your stock TB. Let's make it sound how it is. It does not cost you over 1K out of pocket. And even if you count losing your stock TB, it isn't 1K. You aren't selling a stock TB to anyone for 750. You have to ask yourself, do you want to keep your stock TB? If you need to keep it then def. buy MikeW's. If you don't need to keep it, just go through EVO.

Thanks a lot Mike, but I might just go with EVO directly. Thanks again!
