Default Twin Turbo 350z

Hi I will start off with a little background. I have had my 350z for a little over a year now and loving it but just want that little extra power for both drag and track use.

I have chosen to completely swap out both the engine and gearbox while adding a twin turbo kit. I will be using all GTM Motorsports products for this build. so far the list of the build will be.

- GTM Stage 1 Longblock

- GTM Stage 3 Tranmission Upgrade

- GTM Turn Key Twin Turbo Kit.

- GTM Stage 5 Return Style Fuel System with Bosch 1100cc EV14 injectors

- Haltech Platinum Pro Plug and Play Ecu

I have been working closely with Matt from East Coast Customs to make this build happen, I will be dropping it off to these guys on the 23rd of October to get all things started. The end result both Matt and I are aiming for will be 500-600 RWHP. I will be aiming to keep updated along the way with photos of the build.

Jerry I have heard similar reports about being hit and miss. I just hope everythig goes to plan. Sorry about wrong post location if mods can please move it.

And yes it is going to be quite expensive but I am looking at doing it right the first time.

No I have not yet purchased listed items that was intented later this month.

I was interested in GTM because they do quite alot for 350z and have been told they are a good product I want something reliable and rated with the money I plan on spending.

Yeah I am a little more then excited to get things underway and happening. I aim to get plenty of photos during the build process and a dyno video at the end.

check out dynosty they do great work across multiple platforms the Z and G being one of them. look up the injected performance 350z the green one is one hal built(he left injected performance to form dynosty) or google hal 350z and you should find it he has a website for it turbo6.net. ive never heard a single complaint about him either and ive always had positive interactions with them why i usually tell people to go to him especially if you have to ship regardless of who you buy it from. im sure he can get you the gtm twin kit if you really want it but personally i would go with the jwt depending on power goals or if you dont mind singles the boosted performance single kit(for the price it makes it hard to recommend anything else especially with his customer service lol)

GTM makes some good stuff, but can be tough to get ahold of some times. What turbo's are you going with? I did the stage-III with the GT3071R's along with their 3.8 stoker. I'm putting down mid-600 at the wheels on a relatively low 15 psi. Good luck with your build bro.

If by amaking good stuff you mean a significant history of spun bearings, dropped sleeves and over heating, missing parts from turbo kits, house brand kits not fitting properly, higher labor rates, adding stuff they didnt do to bills, and rebranding parts then mark it up 30% then sureeee they make good stuff. You rolled the dice and got lucky awesome the larger scale consensus however is if you work with gtm your gona get screwed more often then not.

So why risk it when there are shops out there who actually know what they are doing and charge the same or cheaper like dynosty? That dosnt make sense to me.

As I live in Queensland Australia, East Coast Customs is a performance shop based here.

As for dealing with Dynosty makes it a bit hard when I am that distance away. The performance shop here has had no bad reports from GTM and has worked with them in the past.

Yeah I will be using GTM Twin Turbo Kit GT3071R .86 along with the other listed items. I am hoping for 600 at the wheels with the parts that should be an easy goal.

if you can get the shop to deal with dynosty they ship stuff out all the time, same for sasha(boosted performance) none of the things i suggested should be hard to get GTM or them your going to pay alot in shipping.

TRU DAT JERRY..I ordered a 4.0 striker long block May 2011..Jan 2012 I went to look at it and it was still a short block, pistons weren't coated etc...after 1.5 yes and threatening a lawyer, I got my long block missing a few thou in parts (discovered later) and found the engine wouldn't turn over cause Sam coksukr Zawahara hadn't clearance the crankcase for the stroker...good luck dealing with that azzhool long distance..he WILL try and charge you for things not done..I KNOW! He cost me about 5k in lost parts, 1.5 yes of time and grief..painted parts black, called it ceramic coating and charged accordingly...
