TRU DAT JERRY..I ordered a 4.0 striker long block May 2011..Jan 2012 I went to look at it and it was still a short block, pistons weren't coated etc...after 1.5 yes and threatening a lawyer, I got my long block missing a few thou in parts (discovered later) and found the engine wouldn't turn over cause Sam coksukr Zawahara hadn't clearance the crankcase for the stroker...good luck dealing with that azzhool long distance..he WILL try and charge you for things not done..I KNOW! He cost me about 5k in lost parts, 1.5 yes of time and grief..painted parts black, called it ceramic coating and charged accordingly...
You WILL get fukd..GL bro...

do more than just 'hope' they've figured it out…at a minimum you should research other companies. Don't leave anything up to chance, because surely you'll be disappointed at some point.

Issues
My ISSUES with gtm were just shy of 1 yr ago....I am still finding evidence of parts stolen off my car....turn signal socket, wiring, ballast and the PAINTING with rattle can parts that were supposed to be heat dispersant or ceramic coated...this should tell you that you r dealing with a liar and thief...
Do you think he has REFORMED and will be a good boy now?
Once bitten twice shy.....TRY DYNOSTY OR SFR.....
Do it ur way but I Hope u don't get screwed like I did...it don't feel good

I shipped my block to them and they installed the stroker crank with a decent turn-around. Other than that, all I did was order parts from them. Maybe that's why my experience wasn't so bad. Just make sure they've got everything ready to go before you make your purchase.

A lot of shops out there, do your homework more so before you dump $25k into a car.
Dynosty
OnPoint Dyno
Z1 Motorsports
SOHO
JWT
Kyle@Import Parts Pro
Z Car Garage
All good shops, some more expensive than others, but at what you're looking to do, money isn't a concern apparently. GTM is overpriced as **** IMO. For that much money just buy a cosworth engine for ultimate peace of mind?

My .02.
There are not really many shops that are up to this.
I have visited several. Must say I agree that I would stay clear of GTM. Been there in person. He's odd.
As stated in post #27 ...my #1 goal if I were you - find some one / a shop / close by.
Probably be cheaper less heart ache even if you had to change car types...What do performance shops like to build around you.
____I'm on this forum sporadically. Not that I'd recommend it but where /what/why is Forged not mentioned here?

because forged is just as big of scammer as GTM which is why they dont come here anymore. a few builds here turned to absolute ****, as well as a few builds on GTR's my favorite is them using twine for a battery hold down on a GTR though lol

Yea...that's kind what I thought. It, sad to say, was inevitable.

thats why you stick with companys that where well established in many different platforms prior to whatever you currently have. sadly GTM and forged are so established now that people will continue to buy from them simply from the fact they are so large. hell gtm still has the 370z guys convinced that they are awesome and improperly fitting parts is just the norm.

Geeez Sharif used to be the rock star of this forum. IMO My350 made him a fortune.
He saw the potential of being a God here, developed a plan, created the persona and bonafide became one ....for a while...
Maybe he still is one. He is a hard worker I will give him that.
