TCS Button
Hey guys, I just bought my Z (08 6 speed) 3 days ago, everything's been perfect, except.
Tonight is the first night I washed the car and now my TCS button wont disable or enable traction control, not sure if it has something to do with it being wet or what.
I can hear something engaging in the differential but nothing happens. Maybe after I drive for a while it'll finally let me disable it, then if I drive for a while again I can't disable it. (Makes the engaging noise again, or whatever is happening)
Any clue?

Another thought is to check the fuse box.
they are both buttons on my 08, one above the other. the previous owner had an alarm that they took off and dropped that panel down and guess they just plugged the wrong plug into the back of the buttons
Holy crap.. you might actually be right. My gas tank has been opening weirdly. I thought it was maybe me hitting bumps opening it but I just clicked tcs and it made that noise and I checked if the tank was open before and it was closed, pressed tcs, heard the noise, tank opened, no tcs off light. How do I fix it?
Thanks a lot man, I haven't done it yet, but I messed around pressing the buttons back and forth maybe it just confused itself but it seems to be working fine and I haven't messed with it yet. If it does it again I'll definitely do that.

You're on the right track. I used to do the same thing when I first got this car. If it makes a mechanical noise when you push it... You just opened your gas cap lol. They're easy to get confused pressing the wrong button at first because of how they are placed lol.
I didn't know connectors are the same, if so like said ensure they're not mixed up.
