Default jwt combo engagement point.

I have an 04 350z and recently changed the stock flywheel / clutch to a JWT clutch combo. I have been driving it around very easily for about 200 miles. I also changed the clutch master and slave cylinder with a new throwout bearing, pilot bushing, and new pivot ball.

The problem I am having is that the clutch engagement point is very low. the clutch pedal refuses to spring back to its intended position, It stops halfway in between.

I also noticed that there is about an 1-1.5" of free play in the clutch pedal before I actually feel the pressure on the pedal. Is this normal?

Sounds like air in the system or you have the wrong pivot ball and fork combo.

I replaced my stock with JWT, new pivot ball, stainless braided hose, new TOB and roller pilot and cleaned everything up. Bled it all out and mine starts to grab about 1/3 of the way up as usual I believe. I don't really think about it. But the pedal goes all the way to the top like it should.

check the rod on the master, you can unscrew it some if there is still some slack after you bleed it again
