Well to start, we have a better material that can handle the stress of higher rpms. The gears are cut to .005". The coating we use on them gives them even more strength over just the material we used, which is heat treated.

As for the pump, we were able to gain more vaccum over stock. The stock revup we started with was only allowing 3" of vaccum, after the modifications we do, it was showing 18" of vacuum. That's 600% over what you get when you get the stock pump from Nissan.

As for long term testing, these haven't been on the market all that long. However, I assure you, these gears are built for the higher RPM Range in mind.

This has been a 2 year process in getting these where I wanted them to be, after going through a few bumps. I'm happy with the outcome and what this will do for the DE/Revup and HR/VHR(in works).

Hey D,

Yeah, it's been a little minute. I dropped the bike back in 2014, broke my wrist. Lady hit my bike and totaled it as it slid down the road. I have since then picked up another Beemer. This one is another beast compared to my last. Hope all is well my friend. You back in Florida?

Congrats on getting it done! Look forward to your preliminary test results. Certainly better than a stock rev up. Wish they were available sooner! Next time I need a motor built, will definitely consider.

Appreciate it man. We will post any new results as soon as we have them. Well hope the pump funds it's way to one of your builds at some time. Don't want to really say soon, as I hope your build stays together as is and the only reason you need the pump, us that you want to spin higher on a refresh, of checking your motor.

Thanks! No, but those are being worked on as well as we speak.

We look forward to have the full Z/G oil pumps taken care of.

I'm the owner of the SPM 001 pump pictured above. As of right now, I'm currently awaiting an order from Tomei for my cams and springs. Once I have those, I intend to piece together the rest of my supporting mods before an install and tune at Z1 Motorsports. Unfortunately, I won't likely have it done before ZDayZ in May due to having a brake job on deck as well, but shortly thereafter I should have everything I need and will be finishing the build at Z1.

I'll keep you all updated.

Small update, HR/VHR pumps are underway as well. Doing a little something extra on these, so stay tuned.

I know the pain man! My Z has been sitting for 3 years

Another batch will be done after the valve covers are done, so just be watching for those to release.

Hi there! Any update on the pump for the VQ37? I've completed my build for the time being, but I'm already making plans for the next stage and I'd really like to address oiling in this engine (currently have the CJM oil pan) and spin it a bit faster.

We have had some progress, one of the parts in regards to the pump is currently being machined. Once these are done we will go to the gears themselves. Most updates will be on the370z in regards to the pump.

What's the reason for the new backplate over the stock one?

Stock cast piece has a tendency to flex under pressure, that's the biggest reason.
