Default Clutch/flywheel Opinions?

Hello everyone. I've looked around the forums for an answer but no luck, or they were outdated. I'm looking for a clutch for my NA Z DD and spirited drives. I heard the JWT combo is good but am open to other clutches. How's the OS Giken Super Single or the OS Giken GT Single with and without the soft diaphragm, theres like a $400 difference in price for that soft diaphragm. Thanks in advance for opinions.

Never had a problem with JWT. I Use it in my track build with a lightened flywheel. Never used a Giken clutch so do your research and read others reviews. Consider the flywheel too if you have the coin, but know it comes with chatter.

Thanks for you guys opinions. I did some more research and am looking at the exedy stage 1 organic combo with the flywheel. It's around $1000. How does this compare with the JWT combo?

Unless you're planning on doing some serious work on your engine I really don't see the point in spending money on a clutch that handles increased power, but hey to each their own.

After researching for awhile. I decided on jwt clutch/flywheel combo. Check out vendor deals I'm pretty sure it's around 775. I haven't had any problems with the combo

I have a JWT clutch/fly as well. It is daily driven as well as abused almost daily. Has been holding up just fine and I think I have like 18k on it so far. I don't remember exactly when I replaced it.

You only need a high end clutch like an OS Giken if you have some moderate+ non-N/A modifications where you have to have a clutch capable of handling the extra massive bump in power (and some clutches offer street-like docile manners for more $$$), IE built + boosted or massively modified N/A setup putting out a lot more power (I'd still think a massive modded N/A setup still probably couldn't overwhelm the low end of the aftermarket clutches as the most I've heard of is ~400hp which still isn't going to overwhelm a JWT or similar clutch).

The mentioned JWT is used in some turbo builds much less N/A builds so your not going to have a hope of ever overwhelming that clutch with 'spirited' drives normally aspirated; your car simply doesn't put out the power, nor will it N/A. I also have not heard of any track folks having issues with a JWT combo or similar N/A - your much more at risk to overheat things.
