Boost gauge MAP sensor HELP!!
I just recently purchased a TT 350z. I realized it didn't have an accurate boost/vac reading and would never pass zero and would usually idle around 9. I found where the line was coming off the intake and followed it back into the car. Right before the line goes into MAP sensor it tee's off and that line continues to the back of the car. If i kink that line while the car is running the vacuum goes to a normal 18-19. Does anyone know what this line could be or what its used for?

The FPR is under the hood. and I don't think it was ever meth/water injected. Im going to ask the previous owner to make sure. So the MAP sensor sends the signal to the sensor module which then sends the info to the boost gauge...Is having a hose tee'd into the boost line going into the map sensor consistent with having meth//water injection?
looking at your car it looks like you have a vac signal and 2 large wires headed to the rear. The only logical thing is a meth tank with a vac activated signal.
The map sensor takes the vac signal and converts it to and electrical signal that your gauge can understand.
Trace the tube and wires. It should not be open at the other end..thats a vac leak
