Default how to depressurize fuel rails?

I Need to change my injectors.

Can I just pull the fuse for the fuel pump and run the car until it stalls?

I would stop the engine, pull the fuse and then crank.

You may still get residual pressure so keep a rag handy, were glasses. No open flames/sparks.

Thanks.

Start the car - stop the car - pull the fuse - then try and start the car again?

What's the purpose of running the car first?

I've looked all over the place for a guide to do all this but can't find anything comprehensive.

well dont start the car since that will prime the rails which is what you dont want.

If it isnt running, pull the fuse and then attempt to start.

Non return system, and it does not hold pressure for long, just let the car sit for 20 minutes and start taking it apart, you will still about 2 ounces of gas total.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to attempt this today.

Do the injectors need to go in a specific order or anything?

Replacement injectors are fitted. but I still have a bad miss fire!

Ughhh, sucks but at least I didn't pay Firestone $2k to find that out.

Any suggestions on what else it could be?

Are you getting Spark at each of your Spark Plugs? Are you getting a code for wich cylinder is Missfiring? If you have Uprev you can disable one cylinder to help you trouble shoot if your not getting any codes.

I'm not sure how to check that each spark plug is firing to be honest? The diagnostic tool I've got just game me the random misfire error. Didn't say which cylinder. I think I'll contact the previous owner and see if he actually changed the coils and plugs.

I guess other stuff that could be causing the problem are;

Spark plugs
Leads
Coil packs
Injector cables
Fuel rail

Anything else that could cause it? Any suggestions on how to check stuff? Annoying that I can't isolate the problem to a specific cylinder or I could just move stuff around.
