Looking to upgrade to a CD009, they are going to charge $150 for the core, but about how much realistically can I get for my old one? is a 2003 with 70k miles could use new sycros but is fully functional-thanks

 

Any type of “core charge” is in lieu of you sending in the ordinal part when you are buying a rebuilt component. If you are buying a new transmission there should be no core charge.

 

Realistically, you won't get much more than $150 for your old gearbox. It's big, heavy and bulky, so shipping won't be easy and a local sale is your only likely outlet. Assuming you attract a buyer, a 70K tranny with worn snycros won't give you much bargaining power...
