More bad news... gah... could it be possible you have a faulty gasket because you have been changing out plenums so much...?

That's doubtful. I've changed out my plenum plenty of times and the gasket will still hold a seal unless you bend it.

he included a new type gasket so I removed the original. Not sure what to make of it but I wanted to be above board on EVERYTHING. there is no BS here.
