well, This Is the intake tube and TB I Think. The intake tube goes to the Air filter box. If that is not the plenum where might it be?
sorry Kind of OT, but We Need something to do while we wait for the Dynos

I like you guys and I MAY consider possibly THREE runs but anymore than that and I would have to say..........
well, if I put what I was thinking into this thread I may get a strike!
and do not recommend another dyno shop. I did a baseline of some sorts (2 runs, w/ mods) at The Dyno Shop in Santee, CA last Friday. then I added the Kinetix Hi-Flow Cats and did four runs (dyno day, last sat.) at The Dyno Shop and then, of course, I just added the Kinetix Plenum this past friday night. Tomorrow I am going in for the dyno in the AM and then to work. (would you like to also send in a letter to the boss thanking him for the extra time off AGAIN to go and dyno the car?
any more than that
PUT UP OR ...........................................
Joe,
I'm sure that most would agree that you have already done WAY more than you needed to with this prototype testing. Speaking for myself, I appreciate all the time and effort that you have put into helping to get this new plenum tested and available for us Horsepower junkies!
Good luck tomorrow on the dyno and we'll look forward to seeing the numbers tomorrow night.

That price hurts pretty bad. Maybe since you are a fixture at the dyno shop he'll let you run an extra one or two
I'm sure you explained to him what was going on. It would literally cost him another 2 minutes to do another run or two.
If you don't feel comfortable asking, then who cares. Two runs will have to do. Based on my dyno results with the Crawford, it might hurt results a little, but not more than 1 or 2 whp in the end.
Good luck tomorrow.

So I guess I'll sit back and STFU. Good luck on dyno testing and thank you.

It doesn't matter how many runs you do, people will still complain.
Serioulsy though, I've had the shop do up to 5 runs, and after the 3rd, there is no significant change in the numbers, from my experience.

This is very incorrect! They have been using coolent crossovers on intakes for over 50 years and it is only for 1 reason: cold climates. The coolent crossover is to keep the throttle plate from freezing shut when a car is started in a cold enviroment. These are only climates that remain below freezing for extended periods of time. Beyond that, all it does is heat up the intake manifold and the intake air charge. This is simply a waste that has no benefit for those of us in warner climates. This same crossover exists on Mustang and LS1/LS6 intake manifolds. As one of the cheapest mods, installing a coolent bypass to remove this from the intake and it adds 5 hp to those cars.

WELL IS THERE A SEFETY ISSUE WITH THIS LOWER TEMP ON THE PLENUM........Looks like Nissan incorperated a temp control (vai water lines) to the throttle body housing to have constant heat temp to keep the (Butter fly) throttle from sticking at wide open throttle. Buy reducing the amount of heat in the plenum and drawing heat from the throttle body will this be an issue for hanging wide open. Please give me your thoughts on this
Thank you in advance........
