Default larger pistons question

Yesterday I was going ovet my plan for building the motor in my 05 roadster. I am building the engine with the plan in mind to use a precision 6466 turbo in a custom single turbo kit for the car. An idea popped into my head yesterday to darton sleeve the block and use CP 100mm pistons with a 9.5:1 compression ratio but retain the stock stroke. With 272/272 cams and oversized valves what would be the pros and cons of going this route with the motor compared to just replacing rods and pistons with forged replacements in stock dimensions?

Unless your doing 1000+ dont do sleeves. Just go .020 over with a good set of pistons and rods and push 6-700 and be happy.

there have been issues with sleeves...........just search.

I'd also use Dynosty Head gaskets. Or at least research them IMO

thanks for the responses guys. I'll stick to a non-sleeved block and regular forged internals

I would call Dynosty and ask they were not using them back when I had them do my build.
