Hey guys so I bought a vlsd pumpkin to swap for my 2005 base model manual tansmission open diff from this auto part place there was so much confusion they ****ed up my order bad turns out idk what car the vlsd is coming from I have 2 different Vin numbers and there both from g35s when i was suppose to get a 2007 350z vlsd anywaus I know my new pumpkin is a vlsds but my only worry is if its manual or automatic from my understandings I know its no good to put a auto diff on a manual how can I find out the specs on my new diff ?!?!?

There have been a few (many ) threads with diff verification info. Just can't think of the proper key words to search under.

From what I remember about this from 2 years ago is that if you are just swapping two complete pumpkins WITH the shafts in them all ready to go - they will fit. BUT the gear ratio is different auto vs. manual.
Also, if you are taking them apart for any reason the stub shafts will be different lengths possibly - but it doesn't sound like you are doing that.

Check your gear ratios! You will find the info easily around here...

^^seriously?

have you ever drive the auto then th 6mt back to back? going from 3.3to 3.5 will never make your car slow as chit... its barely any change.

How much diffrence is it and I'm actually trying to put a manual one I just don't know if the diff comes from a manual or automatic
