Default I have 04 350z debating

I have a 2004 350z that I bought brand new in January of 2004. I have a 128,000 miles on it and to be honest the car has become a bit of a clunker.

Granted it's held up decently considering I've driven the hell out of it all of those 128,000 miles. But I'm at a point in which I need to either get rid of it and buy something new or put in some serious time and money rebuilding this car.

I've been browsing a bit and I can get a used 370z. I wont buy new again it's so much cheaper to buy used.

If I keep the 350z I'd like to turn it into a sleeper. I do not want a quarter mile car. I want something that I can drive every day and is reliable. I do not know a lot about cars. But have been looking at dual turbo kits. If I go this route I'm debating buying another block and having it built from the ground up. What other upgrades/mods are worth while.. I want top speed the goal and endurance.

The car does have an automatic transmission.

Other repairs and upgrades I need to make. Struts are shot and suspension in general needs attention. Rear Hatch struts are shots again, power windows are shot, Leather seats are cracked and shot, radio is shot. Rims I'd like to go from the 19's I have on it now down to an 18. The 19's tires are simply to thin and the rims get damaged far to easily. The exterior is in decent condition.

Any advice?

Well from what I've read the automatic is only good until 400 or so thats a huge limiting factor. If you have beeten the hell out of the car build your engine. If your serious about power talk to Sahsa about the BP mid mount turbo. Its not "that" expensive and have had awesome results. In the end expect to spend 15-20k on something that could blow up in 10k or 100k. Or you could go LS swap route..Good luck and keep reading. Or

If you had taken care of it, it wouldn't be a clunker now, I bought my '04 in May of '04 and it now has 114,xxx miles and is practically still in the same condition as when I first drove it off the lot.
If you want to hang on to the z, turn it into a track car, work on really learning how to drive it and buy a used 370z to daily.
