This is my first time posting to this site so I hope this is the write place to ask this. I've been doing a build on my 04 350z tt (Manuel trans) and pulled the motor out to do some engine upgrades and while it was out I decided to put a JWT clutch and flywheel on. I also replaced rear main seal while it was out. I got everything put back in the car a few days ago started it up and ran great with no leaks, today I decided to take it for a very short drive for the first time and when I pulled it back in the drive I noticed where my trans and motor connect there is oil leaks slowly. Does anybody have any input on why this could be? I'm positive that the rear main seal was installed correct and the seal didn't fold over plus I put RTV on it. I'm lost and really don't want to have to pull the trans back off again!

First of all, there is no option to solving your problem other than pulling the tranny again. My bet is that the source of the leak is your rear main seal. You might think you did the repair correctly, but once you get a good look at it, you're going to find that's where the leak is from.
If you're really lazy, you can just put a catch pan under the bellhousing and check the oil level of your dipstick. After a few days, you'll find it's engine oil that's leaking.
