Default Timing cover caps gasket replacement

So I yesterday I noticed one of my timing cover caps was leaking oil, so I did a little research and decided to change the gasket. I read that I had to use rtv or gasket maker so that's what I used. I first took off the 3 bolts, I believe they were 10mm then I slowly started to fit a VERY thin flathead between the cap and the timing cover and starter to pry it open. It was a little annoying because it you have to be very careful not to damage the groves on the timing cover. Then I cleaned both surfaces really good and put gasket maker and both surfaces, let it get tacky then put the 3 bolts back in. Seems to be holding up perfectly😃
