As the title states, will catalytic converters from a 2008 350z exhaust work on my 2005 350z? Really need this info asap, my car is currently running straight pipes, and I need to go thru emissions. Thanks in advance for you help!

 

No - the cats have to match the manifolds. Past that, the Y-pipe and all the other stuff downstream is interchangeable.

I also saw a pictures, where they compared the DE/HR cats, and they looked pretty similar, so just wanna make sure!

 

They are similar but NO. THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.

 

as others stated, they only way they will fit is if you change to 07/08 headers

 

Same exact question as yesterday. They fit if you change the exhaust manifolds. Worth it if your engine is sitting on a stand.
