Best gear oil for MY07 350Z
Hi everyone. I recently purchased a 2007 350Z will only 48,000km on the clock. I previously had a 300ZX which I loved but had WAY too many problems with - one of which was synchro issue. I took it to Z-Shop and they put some Redline gear oil in it and it made a HUGE difference.
My question therefore is, should I put Redline in my new 350Z? The gear change is ok but is a little bit clunky - especially changing from 1st to 2nd under heavy acceleration.

I run redline and have had no issues. I was surprised to learn that redline was only marginally more expensive than OEM.

Use Redline MT85 in your Z33 gearbox. It's a high temp synthetic lubricant with enough friction engineered in for the syncros. Viscosity matches factory recommendations.
