Default Master or Slave Cylinder?

Hey everyone. First time posting on here. I've had my '05 since July of 2015, been virtually problem free for 12,000 miles and it's been great. This morning I went to go for a Sunday drive around town, but the clutch was nearly to the floor. It's still drive able, but very tricky to not stall it. The clutch does not slip and it was replaced when I got the car. Could this be my master or slave cylinder? The fluids are on MAX as well and I don't see anything leaking. When I do push in the clutch I hear a bad squeaking sound, then I have to force the clutch up with my foot since it won't spring back up.

I bought the master cylinder today and I'm hoping and praying it's the right one... Taking it to a shop that specializes in Z's. Just going to give them the part and then install it. So far people have said both things but I'm leaning more towards the master. I was told if it's a bad slave; to check under the car at a rubber boot and pull it back and if it's leaking it's bad, mine is not leaking. Can't even see leaks from the master either.

The master gets a build up in it and causes the piston to stick. I think it's from the extra heat in the fluid on the slave on the 05. The 05 does not have a heat shield on the slave like my 03 does.

I've rebuilt the master on my 05 and many customers 05's that have had the same issues

Same issue in my 05. I changed the fluid and slave since it was the easiest and cheapest. But the master was the issue. On hot days and long hours of driving my pedal felt like it got spongy. So I found out about the slave cylinder heat shield and that made a noticeable difference.

Mine had no leaks either. everything "looks wise" was fine.
