Mixing synthetic gear oil with oem oil
Got an easy question. I'm wanting to change out my transmission fluid tom. Is it ok to mix 1qt redline mt90 75w90w with 2qt oem 75w85w fluid?

Live in Colorado and used MT85 in both my street and track 350Zs. Cold weather, hot weather- doesn't make a difference if you know how to heel/toe downshift and rev match.

People don't know and don't care to know how to rev-match or heel/toe downshift and I'm one of them. With today's (even in 03) technology I shouldn't have to and if you run factory fluid you don't have to know or care. Joys of modern technology.

That's ridiculous, and I hope you're kidding. The purpose of knowing how to rev-match your shifts (up and down) is to maintain the balance of the car. You will also have far less wear and tear on the drivetrain components. If one chooses not to learn, at least on a street-driven car, you'll pay the price in repair costs, and in a race-driven car in lap times.

Yeah to drive on the street you definitely do not need to know and do it 100%
I only do to make cool sounds. On track though that's 100%
