Alright so I installed test pipes on my stock exhaust, stock muffler stock Y pipe, at right around 4K there is a rattler metal noise that is extremely loud, I was wondering if any of you guys might know what this is? My brother thinks it might be the excessive amounts of heat shield, let me know what you guys think.

 

could be alot of things... crawl under the car, see if anything is touching or very close.... but my guess is you are experiencing rasp....

 

That'd be some scary sounding rasp I have then

 

where in TX are you?

 

i know when i did HFC, it was close to the heat shield... not touching but the engine would make it vibrate
