Default Worn differential bushings and performance?

I've had an audible *thump* when changing gears quickly under heavy acceleration since I bought the 06' Zed. I've been told by my mechanic that differential bushings are worn. Does wear on differential bushing affect adversely performance of the car? I know dif transfers power so I thought it could be true. If so, how much does it affect my car? I've noticed that my Z is slower and slower (beside getting used to speed of Z) and my best acceleration 0-60 is pathetic 6.9 even with TCS off and with quick shifting and avoiding bog or wheelspin during launch. I'm desperate to restore Z's performance.

Get yourself some new bushings then... I would think the worst part about the worn bushings is the wheel hop. You can get new bushings from the world wide web. I have whiteline, energy suspension makes one, and a few more.

I'll do it anyway. But tell me this. How does it affect car's performance?
Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to order Whiteline bushings as shipping and taxes would make it twice as pricey. I live in Poland.

SPL solid aluminum differential mounting bushings eliminate the stock mushy rubber bushings to hold the differential solidly to the subframe. The stock silicone filled differential bushing is notorious for tearing under hard driving (characterized by black streaks on the rear subframe from dried silicone leaked from the bushing). Our solid bushings will never break, and will keep the differential from “bouncing around” under hard launches/acceleration. This will help prevent damage the drive shaft and half shafts, reduce wheel hop, and improve power transfer to the ground.

Thanks but please, do remember I live in Poland and getting aftermarket parts for Z is a huge pain in the *** and it costs roughly at least a one and a half of prices in US.

I know what you mean by the thump. I recently changed my bushings for the Whiteline and it cured that thump. Shifting fast now just changes the gears without a list thump. To be honest.. $90 x 1.5*= $$135 isn't too bad. It's worth it to be honest.

I said "at least"
You also have to remember that, that we Poles earn 1/3 of what you do. So imagine it costs 390$. This is how it looks like from here.

How many miles are on your Z? Replacing the differential bushings will only help with clunking noises, I doubt it will affect performance in any real noticeable way.

I noticed quite a bit of difference after getting bushings changed out. Mine was slightly leaking, not completely shot. But after the change I noticed I was able to put power down real well. Before I was getting slight wheel hop or traction loss when accelerating and car would slightly pull to the side like torque steer. I guess having worn bushings caused imbalance on the diff.
