Good luck with finding a production 350Z with a QR front bumper. You might be thinking of the clamshell type fastners that are used on GT cars. My GT3 spec 350Z uses a full fiberglass body with a front bumper that not only slides on 1" brackets, but also uses those side fastners to hold each side up. That piece would be difficult, if not impossible, to fit to a production 350Z.

Use zipties...If you hit something your bumper will just pop off

that what your looking for sort of?

i saw a guy with an integra with something like this (made for a honda). all he had to do was unlatch the sides and unscrew four or six screws under then hood and the bumper would pop right off.

hope this helps

i imagine that quick release takes place of the 2 factory screws that are there.
and there are 6 tabs under the hood. i can take off my bumper in 1 minute with hand tools.

That would be pretty sweet if you could have it recessed in like the picture they have on the site (pic below). If applied on top of the bumper and fender (not frenched in) it probably wouldn't look great but it would still serve your function needs.
