Gearchange not as smooth after new clutch
Just wondering if the gear change in mine which is not as silky smooth as it was, could have anything to do with the new exedy DM flywheel clutch I just had replaced?
I've barely done 100kms on new clutch yet, so hoping it settles in to how lovely it was beforehand...
- Or is it possible the mechanic I used didn't quite do something correct?

...Just looked up the shifter re-alignment post;
Phew; doesn't sound too difficult then...Plus alternative posts (MANY replies to this) suggest changing oil if (as VERY common I read) 1 - 2 shift is predominantly when cold; I'll take note on next long drive of temps and if there's any change in it :-)

I (or HE really should do it!) will realign the shifter as above - I'm pretty sure that's the problem.
I'll also check the oil viscosity he used.
Cheers
One question; suggestion for 'adhesive' the guide says to use for gear ****?
Obviously something that won't stop it ever coming off again! LOL

Realign that shifter. Should "cure" the problem.
I've never had issues with the shift **** coming off, even when I didn't use any adhesive or glue.
